Department of Science and Humanities was started in 2009 with an intake of 360 in the Under Graduate B. Tech course. The Department has a dedicated team of staff members and distinguished faculty, trained at renowned institutes in India as well as abroad. The faculty has been active in organizing and participating seminars, workshops, conferences and scientific meetings from time to time. The basic objectives of teaching to the first year students are to develop necessary skills and abilities to succeed in the engineering education. The emphasis is given on knowledge and understanding of the fundamental principles of science and its applications in industry, environment and social context. The department has excellent infrastructure, well equipped laboratory and departmental library. The recent modification in UG course is keeping pace with the latest developments in engineering education. Most important the courses offered to the students are AICTE approved and affiliated by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere, Maharashtra.
